KESWICK: ABA Therapist, Entry Level (Student/CYW/Behv. Sc./ECE /Child) part time leading to full.

We are currently seeking entry level Instructor Therapists to join our team. Students in process of Behavioural Sciences, ECE, CYW, PSW OR relevant disciplines are welcomed to apply. As an Instructor Therapist, you will be responsible for using evidence-based tools to implement 1:1 ABA interventions for children. Comprehensive, on-site training will be provided for all new staff. Placements are available for those completing their final placement for their respective course of study.
The candidate(s) chosen will be working in a stimulating team environment at our centre located in Keswick, Ontario.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Daily data collection
• Direct teaching (both table top and NET)
• Graphing
• Implementation of ABA programming and reinforcement
• Implementation of behavior support plans
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, lifting, playing outside in the snow, cleaning, etc.

• Diploma in Child and Youth Worker/ Autism OR Behavioural Sciences (or that is currently in process) , *OR, ECE, CYW, CYC, PSW *OR relevant discipline preferred
• Experience with children
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and play with children
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Comfort working in an upbeat team environment
• Energetic, flexible, and enthusiastic personality
• Responsible and organized
• The successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle
• Current Vulnerable Sector Screening will be required if selected
• Excellent management, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
• Valid licence to drive in Ontario and access to a vehicle.
