    Michelle's Framing is seeking a Casual Gallery Associate

    If you have a strong background in arts administration, sales, event planning, and a keen eye for design, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic, creative business. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Pro Accounts Management:  Build and maintain relationships with artists, designers, and industry professionals.  Respond to client inquiries and manage orders for special products.  Drive account acquisitions and sales.

    • Gallery Artist Relations & Exhibits:  Seek and connect with new artists to showcase and represent in the gallery.  Organize and manage exhibitions and artwork sales.

    • Consult clients on sales counter with project orders. 

    • Assist with aspects of project creation when needed.    

    • Workshops & Events:  Plan, coordinate, and promote workshops & events.

    • Assist with Marketing & Media 

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

    • Sales and client relations experience preferred.

    • Art and/or custom framing background.

    • Proficient in email communication, graphic design & data entry.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

    Schedule & Remuneration

    The role of Gallery Associate is a casual position requiring up to one shift per week (Thursdays with some evenings required) and alternating Saturdays.  Remuneration is $18/hr. This role has opportunities for additional hours as business needs expand.
