Tell us about your organization: 

The Georgina Cares Fund provides funding to children up to the age of 15, who live in the Town of Georgina, to take part in extra curricular activities or for special needs when their parents/guardians cannot afford to do so. Georgina Cares also helps local families with the Compassion Fund. If a family has experienced a significant, unforeseen, or catastrophic occurrence (such as medical, accidental, death), funding may be available on a one-time basis to help assist with some of the financial stress during this time. We also have a scholarship fund for local high school grads that give back. We support the Georgina Food Pantry and all local school in Georgina through their parent council. Do you have any special announcements or events coming up?

We are beyond thrilled to announce that this year's Georgina Cares auction, hosted by ROGERS tv Georgina, has been a tremendous success. Thanks to the incredible generosity and support from all of you, we have raised over $55,000! This is our biggest year ever, and it’s all because of YOU!

We want to thank Rogers, our volunteers, our donors, and our generous bidders for making this possible. All of the proceeds stay in Georgina to help local kids and families. Check out our website for details and our application form: georginacares.ca
