  • With thousands of people heading to the shores of Lake Simcoe each year, the Chamber understands the importance of equiping our visitors with local information about attractions, businesses and events.  The Mobile Tourism Information Trailer provides a wealth of information to get visitors exploring not just the sand and water, but all things Georgina!  Now, the Georgina Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new Pop-Up Beach Market coming to De La Salle Park this summer!

On July 27th and August 17th, the picnic shelter and surrounding area at De La Salle Park will be transformed into a pop-up beach market to showcase local businesses to our beach visitors.  The goal of the Discover Georgina Pop-Up Beach Market is to enhance a trip to the beach and provide a one-stop shop local experience to visitors visiting this beach!

While all Georgina businesses are able to apply, space is limited and vendors with products and immediate services for beachgoers will be given priority.  We are looking for the following types of local vendors:

    • Clothing & Accessories: Beachwear, summer dresses and casual clothing.
    • Jewellery: Unique pieces crafted by local artisans and costume designs.
    • Artisan Foods: Homemade jams, sauces, baked goods, and other specialty food items.  Pre-packaged only, not to interfere with what's already being sold with Food Truck Program.  Must meet all YR Health standards
    • Beach Accessories: Locally made beach towels, bags, hats, and sunglasses.
    • Surf and Water Sports Gear: Surfboards, paddleboards, and other water sports equipment from local manufacturers.
    • Local Artists: Paintings, prints, and other artworks.
    • Handcrafted Home Decor: home decor items, furniture, and crafts.
    • Natural Skincare Products: Sunscreens, lotions, and other skincare items made from local, natural ingredients.

    • Pet Products: Locally made pet treats, toys, and accessories.
    • Eco-Friendly Products: Reusable and sustainable products, such as water bottles, bags, and utensils.
    • Service Providers offering Immediate Services (massage at the event, tarot readings, etc.).
    • Local Authors: Selling books and offering signings and readings.
    • Flower and Plant Vendors
